Habakkuk 3:19 AMP
The Lord God is my strength {my source of courage, my invincible army}; He has made my feet {steady and sure} like hinds' feet And makes me walk {forward with spiritual confidence on my high places [of challenge and responsibility].
When life's pressures weigh heavily on you, it can seem as if the wind has been taken from your sails. As women, we are uniquely crafted by God, possessing a distinct set of skills. Our minds and hearts function differently from those of men. God designed us to multitask and manage life's details.
There are moments when we feel exhausted, regardless of whether we have young children or are experienced women struggling with sleep. Tired is tired. Our bodies feel depleted, and our minds seem incapable of managing another issue or responsibility. It feels as though we simply can't continue.
In those moments... Take a deep breath and pour your heart out to the Lord. He knows and sees everything you are going through. Once you have finished... take another deep breath. Tell God you are giving each burden to Him and allow God's Holy Spirit to lift you up.
Every day presents us with challenges and responsibilities. Keep in mind that God created you uniquely. The words of the prophet Habakkuk are impactful: "The Lord God is my source of strength." We are not alone. As Christian women, we have a powerful and endless source of strength to rely on through the Holy Spirit within us.
You put in effort and dedication because you deeply care about what you're doing. This passion fuels your actions. By inviting God to share the journey, you find peace for your mind and body, allowing you to continue with strength, confidence, and energy, even with minimal sleep.
The scripture states, "He has made my feet like hinds' feet {steady and sure}," similar to a deer that can navigate any terrain with confidence. Whether moving quickly through a dense forest or climbing a steep slope, the deer remains sure-footed. Likewise, God provides us with this assurance when our lives become unstable or challenging. He empowers us to tackle difficult situations because He supports us with His strength, not our own. Without God's daily provision of strength, we would falter and struggle to manage life's challenges.
Jesus, I ask that you assist this woman in surrendering her burdens to you. Reveal your love and compassion towards her needs. You are aware of her struggles, Lord. Elevate her and place her securely on a rock. Guide her to be confident and steady as she journeys through her days with you. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
